Matthew’s Table exists to point people to JESUS. Our mission is to serve the lost and broken, through engaging worship, relevant teaching, and various events throughout the Owensboro community.

The church presently meets Sunday mornings 10:45 at 119 West 24th St. Additionally, we regularly hold services outside the walls of our building, including hosting Sunday morning services at the Daviess County Detention Center, and at various locations in Downtown Owensboro.

Our goal is to live out Jesus’ command of serving “the least of these”, namely those struggling with and suffering from addiction, homelessness, prior convictions, those in jail, prison, halfway houses, and recovery programs. We want to reach those those who believe Jesus and the church have given up on them. We believe God doesn’t call the qualified, but rather, that He qualifies the called.

Here, you don’t have to be perfect. In fact, if you’re looking for the perfect church, you’ll probably be severely disappointed if you attend one of our services. If you’ve messed up, you feel like everybody has given up on you, or if you believe you’re not “good enough”, we want to see YOU at church this Sunday morning. We’re saving a seat for you, and can’t wait to tell you how excited we are that you’re with us.

For Matthew’s Table, #SHOWLOVE is more than just a hashtag. It’s our mission, vision, purpose, and calling in all that we do. Jesus loves you, and we can’t wait to prove to you that we love you too.

Come visit us this Sunday and you’ll see that we’re a real, raw, imperfect group of people seeking to live out our lives in awe of a perfect God.
